Hey there, I’m Courtenay. If you’re here, chances are you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by your dog’s behavior—and I totally get it. I’ve been working with dogs my entire life, and I know how challenging it can be when your furry friend just isn’t listening. I also know how incredible it feels when everything clicks, and you finally have the bond you’ve always wanted with your dog.
My journey with dogs started early, and it’s taken me down some unexpected paths. I joined the military with the dream of working with Military K9s. Life had other plans, and I ended up becoming a Medic—and later, a nurse. But my passion for dogs never faded. In fact, my nursing experience has given me a unique perspective on dog training. I understand the human side of the leash just as much as the dog side. And let’s be honest: training the people is just as important as training the dogs. That’s where a lot of trainers fall short, and it’s where I strive to make a difference.
Since 2017, I’ve been training and competing with my own Working Line German Shepherds in PSA (Protection Sports Association). Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to attend seminars with some of the top trainers in the world, learning from their expertise and refining my skills. As the President of Central Kansas Working Dogs, I’ve also had the privilege of hosting world-class trainers at seminars right here in our community. My goal is always to bring the best training methods to our area and to keep learning and growing alongside my clients.
But my true passion is helping everyday dog owners like you build a stronger, happier relationship with your dog—whether that means stopping the barking, fixing the pulling, or just getting your pup to listen when it really matters. Four-Week Transformation Package
Five Week "Weekday Academy"
At just $90 a day, our board and train programs are designed to create lasting change and help you enjoy life with your dog. Your dog stays with us for personalized training and daily care. How long they stay depends on the program you choose.
Total Transformation — 4 Weeks
Your dog stays with us for four consecutive weeks, including weekends. This immersive program builds reliable obedience while addressing challenges like over-arousal, leash reactivity, and anxiety. Through personalized training and real-world practice, your dog develops the skills to navigate distractions, relax in public, and behave more calmly at home. You’ll learn how to maintain that progress and confidently guide your dog when they return home.
Weekday Academy — 5 Weeks
Your dog stays with us during the week for training and overnight care, then returns home with you each weekend. Over five weeks, they receive personalized training while you get guided weekend homework to practice their new skills and bring the training into everyday life. It’s a great fit for owners who want the benefits of board and train with regular weekends together.
Support for Life
Your support doesn’t end at graduation. Once you’ve trained with me, I’m available for life to help with questions, guidance, and refreshers. I’m dedicated to you and your dog’s continued success.

Puppy Foundations Package
(For Puppies Under 4 Months)
Start your puppy off on the right paw with our Puppy Foundations Package! For just $75 a day, we focus on essential obedience—like sit, stay, come here, and leash manners—along with calm behaviors to prevent common issues like jumping and nipping. We also promote calmness and comfort in the kennel/crate and establish a potty routine to speed up potty training.
Choose between a 3-week or 4-week option. This program builds a solid foundation for a well-behaved, confident companion, setting your puppy up for lifelong success.
